Taylor Swedberg - 6th Grade

Mr. Swedberg teaches 6th grade language arts and history; 7th & 8th grade Bible.

 Mr. Swedberg enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, and photography.  When not at BCS, he runs his own photography business. It's hard to catch Mr. Swedberg on film because he is always behind the camera himself. He enjoys reading and enouraging his students to read as well. HIs wife Mindy is also a teacher at BCS and they have been teaching together most of their marriage.

His favorite verse is, 1 Corinthians 15:10, "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me."

Taylor comments that in college, "I was challenged to take my relationship with God to a deeper level. I started reading my Bible on my own, and I fell in love with God’s Word. It was such an awesome time in my life. I had never felt closeness like that before."

Taylor graduated from WWU in 2005 with an elementary education teaching certificate with an English endorsement. He has continued his education by obtaining his professional teaching certification in the Spring of 2010.
