Sixth Grade

Here are just a few of the things we do in sixth grade:

Our goals in sixth grade, among others, are to help kids with the math of fractions, decimals, percents, graphs, and geometry. Our science lessons explore the world of volcanoes, earthquakes, the nervous system and immune system, and chemistry. Sixth-graders also engage with novels such as Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, write book reports and research papers, and give speeches in our language arts curriculum. For a more comprehensive overview of our sixth-grade curriculum, download the syllabus from the sidebar.
